Our birding group had an unforgettable experience at the Festival of the Cranes in Decatur, Alabama! The team at Decatur Morgan County Tourism made everything seamless—from securing great hotel rates to organizing shuttle services so all 26 of us could travel together. The Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge was incredible, with top-notch facilities and breathtaking views of thousands of sandhill and whooping cranes. Seeing so many of these majestic birds in one place was truly awe-inspiring. We can’t recommend this festival and the hospitality of Decatur enough!
