BB Perrins was founded in 1988 by Benny and Braxton Perrin. Benny Perrin played football for the University of Alabama and was on the 78’ and 79’ national championship teams coached by the legendary Paul “Bear” Bryant where Benny was able to get the Game Ball in Coach Bryant’s 315 game making him the winningest coach in college football history. After Benny’s retirement from the NFL where he played 5 seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals; Benny and Braxton learned to cook from the Amazing Pit Master Big John with Dreamland BBQ in Tuscaloosa which led to BB Perrins development in the Beautiful Downtown Area of Decatur, Alabama. For 38 years BB’s has been able to become a true staple BBQ restaurant for the North Alabama Area. 

For over 100 years, Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q has anchored American smokehouse culture, passing down its legendary recipes through five generations. Inducted into the Barbecue Hall of Fame and decorated with 18 World Barbecue Championships, this historic institution is internationally renowned as the birthplace of the iconic, tangy Alabama white sauce.

Bobby's  Restaurant - Eva, located at 51 Lindler St, Eva, AL, offers a welcoming atmosphere with a touch of traditional Southern fare. At Mother’s Italian Kitchen, we bring to the table the culmination of Chef Michael Locascio’s family recipes and his classically trained cuisine. Our goal is to make every guest feel like part of the family from the moment they walk through the door.

After visiting Hawaii, I fell in love with authentic shave ice and knew I had to bring it home to Hartselle. Unlike a typical snow cone, ours starts with a scoop of our homemade ice cream, is topped with soft, snow-like ice, and finished with a snow cap of sweetened condensed milk. Every batch of ice cream is made in-house from scratch so each one is carefully crafted by hand.

Piper & Leaf Tea Co. is a family-owned and operated artisan tea company that has been proudly serving Alabama since 2013. We specialize in crafting tea blends using all-natural ingredients sourced directly from local farms, fields, and forests. Driven by our mission to Serve the Joy, we pour delicious, handcrafted drinks that bring our community together while proudly donating a minimum of 10% of our profits to local fostering and adoption initiatives.

Opening a restaurant was a dream I have had for many years. I want it to feel like home, or grandma’s house where everyone is welcomed. Food makes people happy and we love to see happy people.

The Mallard is a locally owned and operated specialty coffee shop located in the heart of Decatur since 2024, dedicated to serving the highest quality espresso beverages in a serene and welcoming environment. The Mallard is passionate about environmental stewardship and community gathering. They are open 7 days a week and serve an all day coffee, tea, beverage, and food menu, with grab and go options available as well. 

Pizza Roma brings old-world craftsmanship to the art of making pizza. Our dough is made fresh daily, and our real brick oven bakes your pizza to perfection. We use a unique blend of proprietary spices that brings out the robust flavor in our marinara sauce. Family owned and operated we recently expanded to Decatur. We are excited to share our family recipes with the Decatur community 

A Cozy coffee shop in Downtown Hartselle, offering breakfast and lunch items plus an assortment of espressos and blended drinks.

In 1966 on Labor Day, Floyd and Laura Whitt began a dream and a tradition of excellence. They originally hoped to provide a way to send their four children to college, and now–nearly 60 years later–Whitt's is still providing hickory smoked bbq, cooked the old fashioned way with hickory coals. Floyd, a premier brick mason, designed and built a closed masonry pit in his backyard that pulled smoke across the pork shoulders giving the meat an open pit flavor. Folks saw the smoke, smelled the flavor, and knocked on the door to purchase. We still use that pit design today.

The original crew on opening day in 1966 was Floyd, Laura, Jack, Joe, Mark, and Bonnie Whitt, quite a family endeavor. The dream and the tradition continues with now 4th generation and original family members!
